Meet the Family

Three humans, one very fancy rooster, and a backyard full of personality.

Jake

Coop Builder-in-Chief

If it's hammered, hinged, or predator-proofed, Jake built it. He makes sure every product we sell would survive our own flock's judgment.

Flock Favorites

Everything we'd (and do!) use on our own chickens.

Chicken Saddles & Hen Aprons

Protect your ladies' feathers in style. Comfy fits, cute prints, and adjustable straps — our signature item!

Coop Décor & Signs

Give the coop some charm — welcome signs, name plates, and décor that says "the girls live here."

Feeders & Treats

Snack time is sacred. Feeders, treat toys, and flock-approved nibbles to keep everyone pecking happily.

Just-for-Fun Stuff

Chicken hats, perches, swings, and silly gifts — because a spoiled flock is a happy flock.

Coop Care 101

A few of Hillary's favorite tips for first-time flock parents.

1

Fresh water, always

Chickens drink more than you'd think — check waterers twice a day in summer and keep them shaded.

2

Dust baths are non-negotiable

A dry patch of dirt or sand keeps feathers clean and mites away. Your hens will throw themselves in with joy.

3

Lock it up at night

Raccoons have thumbs. Enough said — secure latches and hardware cloth beat chicken wire every time.

4

Treats in moderation

Mealworms and scratch are chicken candy. Keep treats under 10% of their diet so eggs stay strong.

5

Watch for feather loss

Bare backs usually mean an over-amorous rooster or pecking. A chicken saddle protects feathers while they regrow.

6

Bored hens are naughty hens

Cabbage piñatas, perches, and swings keep the flock busy — and keep them from picking on each other.
